Hi, I’m Lari! I grew up in Chicago, where I developed a deep appreciation for great food, vibrant culture, and the art of dodging potholes while balancing a deep-dish slice in one hand and the phone on the other. Just kidding.

I traded the city skyline (and those brutal winters) for ocean breezes and vibrant island life when I moved to Puerto Rico in early 2025—and honestly, it’s been the dream. These days, I call this beautiful island home and use it as my base for doing what I love most: exploring the world one bite, sip, and adventure at a time. I’ve wandered from the sandy beaches of this island to the bustling souks of Dubai, always chasing the flavors that tell a story. Whether I’m savoring street food in a new city, discovering hidden restaurants, or sipping unforgettable wines in Napa, Italy, or South Africa (shoutout to the 2016 Lanzerac Merlot in Durban—still thinking about it), food and drink are how I connect with the world.

Why Puerto Rico?

Aside from being absolutely stunning, it’s where I feel most connected—to my roots, my creativity, and a slower, more flavorful way of life. It’s also the perfect launchpad for the adventures I live for: discovering new places through their food, wine, and culture. Food, wine, and travel aren’t just hobbies for me—they’re how I understand the world. I believe every meal tells a story, every bottle of wine captures a moment, and every trip opens a new chapter. I chase these moments not just for myself, but so I can share them with you—because I truly believe that the best discoveries are meant to be passed on.

So… what’s up with the logo?

Glad you asked! The logo is more than just a design—it’s a reflection of the journey. The crossed swords symbolize courage and strength, the kind you need when you’re chasing your dreams or making big, scary changes (like moving across the ocean). The floral crest represents beauty, growth, and creativity—all of which fuel this space and everything I do. And at the top of the crest, hibiscus flowers bloom proudly, honoring Puerto Rico’s heritage and my deep connection to home, family, and identity. It’s a reminder that we can be grounded and adventurous all at once.
